October Events

Events on the Horizon

The thought: Last year, larger-scale events and summits wrapped up by the end of Q3. This year marks a notable shift, with October becoming what we’d consider a hot month in the events world. This change in event prioritization is perhaps the most significant trend across media companies right now. For many, events provide a steady revenue stream while on-site ad dollars continue to ebb and flow. Though I expect this event trend to extend into the first half of 2026, it’ll be interesting to see how the landscape continues to evolve.
