The Media Tracker

The thought: June closes out the spring event season before things quiet down for summer. The main story here is Axios, which made a bigger commitment to Cannes than most media companies. Many leaned into Davos and left Cannes alone, but Axios is running houses at both, signaling the heavier focus on events for them. On the sponsor side, Anthropic’s presence at Axios AM Live is a notable data point for the AI ad spend thread we’ve been seeing in recent months.
