The thought: With only a few days into the new year, Davos Houses are taking up the majority of the industry’s event space this month, partnering with top dollar clients for their multi-day event series. The most notable sponsor is Qualcomm, who is sponsoring a portion of the Axios House. We haven’t seen this client return to the ad space in quite some time, further demonstrating the power of events to attract clients who are wary of brand safety concerns with RON campaigns. Looking ahead, we can expect the continuation of summits this year. Take The Hill, for example, which has already created a landing page for their June summit despite not yet launching events for the coming months.
