The thought: with MDW behind us and the summer slump on the horizon, we are fortunately still seeing the events industry full speed ahead in sponsorships. Most notably, the ability to have virtual events has become crucial for more revenue opportunities. This allows for wider engagement for the publication but also top dollar clients to get in front of high value audiences.
To consider: Certain clients like IBM or Shell rarely turn to newsletter and on-site sponsorships, but sponsoring events is within their reach. Publishers can look at events as a foot in the door for those hard to get clients knowing they’ll receive 100% SOV while also remaining safe among a rocky news cycle.
