The Media Tracker: April's Nonprofit Push

Nonprofits are back to upping their ad spend to get in front of policy and decision makers

The Media Tracker

This week we're diving into nonprofits upping their ad spend.

What's 🔥 Right Now

Nonprofit is back on-site

  • NY Alliance for Healthcare Justine is running ads across Politico this week, calling to end the medicaid funding crisis in Albany (NY DMA)

  • American Public Transportation Association (APTA) is running ads across WSJ, pushing messaging on how investing in transportation is an investment in our economy.

  • NHTSA is running ads across Bloomberg, with messaging on finding the right car seat through The Car Seat Finder.

Newsletter rundown 🏃

  • Coalition to Strengthen America’s Healthcare is sponsoring WaPo’s Health 202 and Axios Vitals this week, with brand awareness on how they’re working to improve 24/7 patient care.

  • American Public Transportation Association (APTA) is sponsoring Politico’s Weekly Transportation, pushing messaging on the positive impact of investing in transportation.

  • The National Association of REALTORS is sponsoring Politico Playbook & Playbook PM, with messaging on their push for fair housing.

  • Alzheimer’s Association is sponsoring Politico’s Inside Congress and Morning Consult Washington, calling on Congress to pass the bipartisan BOLD Reauthorization Act of 2024.

  • The Firearm Industry Trade Association is sponsoring The Hill’s Morning Report, with messaging around how the firearm industry drives American jobs.

The thought: nonprofits are back to upping their ad spend to get in front of policy and decision makers. Majority of nonprofit/association ad dollars are continuing to be placed within newsletters for 100% SOV. This week though, we did see new on-site ad buys in an effort to spread further awareness.
